Welcome to Year 3!
We hope you had a wonderful Christmas break and are looking forward to the Spring Term.
Each week we will share an overview of the children's subjects/topics on this web page, as well as their homework tasks for each week.
Please remember we are now following our new health snack policy and snacks should be a piece of fruit or a vegetable.
In Year 3, the children do not need to bring additional backpacks or pencil cases. They will just need their book bags.
Mrs Shardlow's PE day is: Wednesday (inside/outside PE).
Ms Fleming and Mrs Holland's PE day is : Monday (inside/outside PE).
The children's PE kit will stay in school for the half term and please ensure the children do not wear earrings to school on PE days and long hair is tied back.

The Year 3 Team
Water Bottles
You can bring a filled water bottle to school every day with a sports cap. Juice is allowed in packed lunches. However, the water bottle that sits on your desk should not contain juice or squash. If it spills, the juice and squash will ruin your books and work. You can refill your water bottle throughout the day.
Shoe Laces
If you have shoes with shoelaces, please learn at home how to tie and untie them.

Resources from Home
A quick reminder that when children are transitioning to Year 3 - all lesson resources needed will be provided by the school.
Children will not need to bring in any pencil cases or resources.
